Dr. Morris Ritz’s works in the field of Plastic and reconstructive surgery

With hard work and dedication, Dr. Morris Ritz has been working as a major plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Australia. Along with these he also provides services like Brachioplasty (also known as arm lift), abdominoplasty (or the tummy tuck), liposuction and fat transfer; helping people look the best version of themselves.

Dr. Morris Ritz began his education in South Africa. First, he graduated from Witwatersrand University with a degree in medicine (1982). After this, he went on to his post-graduation; pursuing a degree in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa (1990). Dr. Morris Ritz then spent a year working at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne as a Microsurgery research fellow. Then from 1992-1995, he headed the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Baragwanath Hospital in South Africa; all the while running his own practice. Dr. Ritz is a council member of the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the National Secretary for The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Why do we need plastic surgeons like Dr. Ritz?

The question is understandable. Why do we need plastic surgery? Doesn’t it give out the wrong impression that looks are everything that matters? The answer to that is simple plastic, and reconstructive surgeries are not just about changing looks. They are much more than that. For example, let’s talk about a very obese person who is even unable to move from the couch. Now we can automatically assume that this person cannot even exercise in order to become fit because they have so much fat in their body that it is impossible for them to do so. But at the same time, if nothing is done about it; the person would have a high chance of dying due to obesity. In this scenario, a liposuction or maybe a tummy tuck would help the person enough to ensure that there is enough mobility in the body to start exercising. Plastic surgery in this scenario has saved a person’s life. Hence, it is necessary to talk about people like Dr. Morris Ritz because of their hard work and dedication towards helping people become the best versions of themselves.
