General categories or causative reasons for cancer-related are as follows: chemical or toxic compound exposure, ionizing radiation, some pathogens, and human genetics. Whatever that may cause a normal body cell to develop abnormally potentially that may cause cancer. And these abnormal cells are termed as malignant cells, tumour cells, or cancer cells. Not only human beings even animals or any other living organisms can get cancer.

The three most common cancers noticed in men, women, and children are as follows:

Stages of cancer

According to medical science cancer co-relates to one of the following five stages.

  • Stage Zero: In this stage, the cancerous cells are confined to their site of origin. In this stage, cancer doesn’t spread and invade other tissues.
  • Stage One: Stage Three: These are generally advanced stages of cancer. This step correlates to large tumours. The cancerous cells may have spread beyond the site of its origin in which it developed to nearby lymph nodes, organs adjacent to the location of the primary tumour.
  • Stage Four: In this stage, cancer has spread to distant lymph nodes, tissues, organs in the body, and they are far away from the origin. In short, cancer has,’ metastasized’.

Some cancers which are related to the brain, spinal cord, bone marrow (lymphoma), blood (leukaemia), and female reproductive system are classified according to different staging system.
